Quad4 car spotted in print! |

I picked up a copy of ‘Grassroots Motorsports’ yesterday (vol 27, no 1, feb 2010), and on the top of page #82 a 90/91 Calais Quad442 SCCA endurance race car is pictured;
It’s a part of an article condensing the history of the SCCA/ IMSA/ Factory stock racing classes.
For those of you who don't know, Oldsmobile sponsored many teams in both the Firehawk (formerly IMSA), and SCCA race series, and our cars were a dominant presence from roughly 1990-1994.
One of our members has a former Firehawk/ IMSA car that is slowly being resurrected.
I gota say, after skimming through this magazine last night, it has me thinking of doing what several here* have been doing for several years…
* = iirc the people here who are (or have been) involved in time attack & circuit racing are Jeiler, Racin, Cavfan, W41442 (but I am certain there are more).
