How do you think this setup would work?

086 head swap
ld2 cams(reluctor wheel on intake)
eagle/crower rods
forged pistons w/stock cr
remove balance shafts(yes i know its alot of work, about the 2.3 oil pump gear added to the crank,w/ 2.3 oil pump, block machined to 2.3 pump)
ho intake
ho exhaust mani, or header if avail
62mm tb
msd dis2
fogger n2o ~100 shot
95 s10 "w" fuel pump
fpr
open up rod bearing oiling holes
open up main bearing holes
cryo the crank

open to critcsim and for mistakes to be cleared up

Im doing almost the exact same setup this summer. With the exception of removing the balance shafts. How much larger are you going to drill out the oil ports, I was not going to drill them out but its not a bad idea. Let me know how it runs if you get it done before me.

Its going to be awhile before I can get this done, maybe next spring.
As for the oiling holes there was a post about it on jbody awhile back, think karo posted it.z
Since you're in the DC area, about 4-5 hrs away(i'm in blacksburg) we should meet up sometime, who knows maybe get another J meet together and we can talk more about it then. And I can see your setup if you get it built

that sounds cool, Im still debating on the build up or dropping in a W41 in, I cant find a 95 J-body harness for it, if anyone knows where one is let me know.
