2.3 Cylinder Wall Thickness?

Anybody run a sonic test on the 92mm block cylinder wall thickness?

My '91 Olds shop manual only lists +.010" service pistons, which, umm, makes me kinda suspicious of +.030" pistons, which I suspect I'm going to need.
