i know its a stocker, but i have plans for mods in the future, i have a steering wheel idea, a header plan, cam swap, i already made the intake, (which i can let you in on) and little interior shit here and there. im going to get the seats cleaned, and go after all the aluminum under the hood with a buzzwheel.

P.S. it IS a NUMBERS MATCHING W40 Quad 442, with all the stock parts laying in the garage. its got tape holders, and the whole 9 yards.

hey 90grandamn, eric, hey i am redoing my idi cover and i wanted your thoughts on colors for a HO cover. i was either going to go 1. red, clean fins all letters black. 2. black, clean fins all letters red, or 3. gold with clean fins and black letters.

i know i got that idea off of a 50 olds rocket 88. it gave me the idea to do something out of the ordinary and do something different. ill post pics when i get it done and let you know how it turns out. its going to look so cool.. im so excited!!!! i went to the jy and picked up a late model quad 4 cover w rubber inserts. it wont start now, but i think what ill do is put my coilpacks and housing on the bottom of that cover and try to go back to square one.

its the black ICM module. Just swap it out with your original and it will start up again. the later ones are different inside.

i kept my little flat pack thing changed the coil housing and cover. i think if i put my black one back on it it will run, as it had the black one on it and ran ok, but had an intermittent miss. i will change the bad coil in the black housing, put it back on with my original pack and the newer cover. will late model coils work with a 91? or is that whats effing up?? it cranks for a while, and no fire. not even a studder. ill switch it back and try it out. the whole reason i changed it was so i could redo my ho cover and be able to drive the car. i found that cover complete and changed my little pack thing out hoping it would get me by.. not happenin. i have to actually work on it and change it over.. damn!

i spent no more than 30$ on mine at home depot. on my car off the ho mani, i came down with a 90, made an s with another 90, then off and toward the front with a 30 and clamped it on, and then shot it up in that little cubby where the stock air box and tube used to be. big filter, 3" shit pipe, flows awesome, take a cap for that kind of pipe, ie a rubber one, two hose clamps, and cut a hole in the cap to get it snug on the tb, then stick the tube inside, tighten the shit out of it. then take a rubber strap out of an exhaust hanger kit, (actually two one on each side of the tube), and bolt it to the intake and the frame on both sides. there you go it can move enough and still be extremely solid, it flows shit no problem why not air?? its cheap as fuck. take the pcv hose and original 90 off the stock rubber intake tube, and jb weld it into a drilled out hole in the new intake it works awesome and sounds badass "waaaaahh!" its freaking incredible and flows great. it looks cool too.

I just cemented the old 90o with an ABS elbow and used zip ties to hold it in.
