there is a 2.4 eco now. the 2.4 twin cam was discontinued in in 2002. the 2.4 eco is in things like the solstice, hhr, and other small vehicles.

Ok everybody got their ranting and raving out about the new and the old and the young and the stupid.....I was gonna go off and speak my mind but honestly there is nothing more to say its all been said in FULL i have a w41 i have an old rocketparts catalougue and every single gm performance catalauge since 91 and they still make stuff for the 2.3 (not alot)(not as much as the eco) BUT i dont care what u say i have a 92 w41 achieva and i DARE no I DOUBLE DOG DARE somebody to roll an eco up next to me i wish for it so bad for jus one friday or saturday that somebody would jus come from nowhere with an eco and talk shit SOOOOOO bad.......ok im done whos next

Has anyone else heard of the ecoteck spontaniously blowing the timing chain for no apparent reason, We came across this problem in a customers car a few years back when the engines were still just in the saturn L series cars. Couldn't figure out what had caused it so we just swaped in a used motor

p.s. The 2.3 was better
